Transport of spirals

Veneta Trasporti has completed two exceptional transports of spirals from Hungary.

The largest one, 6 metres wide and 32 tonnes in weight, required really special attention.

Escorted by 3 pilot cars and by the motorway technical assistance services, and only travelling during the night, it had to avoid a fair number of problems while on route.

Street works created obstacles and caused route changes, extending the time for completing the journey to 10 days.

The load reached the Port of Genoa just in time to be loaded on the vessel, to continue the journey to its final destination, the hydroelectric power plant of Santiago, Chile.
